Laith will once again conduct an immersive 8-week Business Retention & Expansion course online for the Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute (OU EDI). The course features in-depth work in BRE and the opportunity for professional students to hear directly from subject matter experts in all aspects of this essential economic development focus area.

Laith Wardi goes back to where it all began at Pennsylvania's Basic Economic Development Course. He'll do a two-hour webinar session on best practices business retention and expansion.

Laith Wardi, CEcD, is back in The Volunteer State to moderate a resiliency training session for economic development and government stakeholders. This is the second resiliency session for UT.

Laith Wardi, CEcD, will travel to Southwest Virginia to continue consulting work on an ambitious regional Telehealth strategy initiative spearheaded by the Cumberland Plateau Regional District Commission. During the week, he will facilitate stakeholder focus groups, meet with core healthcare providers, and present initial findings to the Commission's full Board.

Laith Wardi will travel to the Seattle, Washington area to assist The Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce with a series of business walks. These business walks are part of an overarching BRE strategy that he is developing for the market area, including outreach, team management, and technology components.

Laith Wardi has been named the 2025 visiting executive practitioner for Auburn's EDI. This is a deeply satisfying honor for our founder and continues his long association with the Auburn program. A special thanks to David Mixon and the entire team for keeping us involved with this great program every year!
