International Economic Development Council (IEDC)
The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organization serving economic developers. With more than 5,000 members, IEDC is the largest organization of its kind.
Economic developers promote economic well-being and a higher quality of life for their communities by creating, retaining, and expanding jobs. Climbing employment rates facilitate growth, enhance wealth, and provide a stable tax base.
From public to private, rural to urban, and local to international, IEDC’s members engage in a full spectrum of economic development initiatives. Given the breadth of work, the IEDC is composed of members employed in a wide variety of entities including, but not limited to: local, state, provincial, and federal governments, public-private partnerships, chambers of commerce, and universities.
Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute (OU EDI)

The British Columbia Economic Development Association (BCEDA)
The British Columbia Economic Development Association (BCEDA) is the leading professional association of economic development practitioners in the Province of BC. BCEDA currently has over 420 members from communities throughout the Province. BCEDA provides services that help member communities grow and expand new and existing businesses, attract new business investments, and work towards strategic infrastructure investment, land use planning, and community enhancement.
